This week I have learned a new skill. As an absolute novice to the world of website building, I have thrown myself in and learned (the hard way) about themes and templates, forms and blogs, but the most important thing I have learned is that I still have a lot to learn!

In today’s technical age, there are so many tools to help that the choices are overwhelming but armed with search engines and online videos I leapt in. It does feel like learning to surf Fistral Beach with a tea tray in a winter storm, but I haven’t drowned.

As a writer, with e-books and social media being an everyday part of life, I felt it was essential to have an online presence so HELLO! I am here now. I will keep learning and keep tweaking, but now what I want to do is get back to my first novel so that I have something worth sharing on this shiny new website.
